  • What is a Jam Club?

A group of 3 to 12 people within a 25 mile radius who get together regularly to play guitar in-person.

How do I start a Jam Club?

Jam Clubs must have a designated "owner" who's in charge of leading and making sure the Jam Club is meeting regularly. Anybody can start a Jam Club if they're willing to be the owner and have at least two people who've also committed to joining the group and meeting regularly.

Jam Clubs are in beta but if you want to start one and you've already got at least two people committed to join your group and meet regularly, just send @Levi a direct email. Go to my profile and click "message" near my photo.

I need two things in this email:

    1. What city will the group be associated with (there can be multiple Clubs within an area).

    2. The name of your group. It shouldn't contain "TAC" or the name of your city. Examples of current Club names are: Floating Frets, Bay Shredders Brigade, Friends with Strings.

We are working on a shirt design so Clubs can order shirts with their Jam Club's name and location! Also, once there are enough Clubs, we can start having regional Jamborees, or even larger regional gatherings where multiple Clubs travel to meet in one location. But the core of Jam Clubs is meeting regularly (at least once per month) and getting the benefits of playing with others in real life!

This is a closed group for paid students who've enrolled in Fretboard Wizard. If you've purchased Fretboard Wizard, click "Join Club" then introduce yourself in the "Start Here" tab. Stay tuned for the weekly challenges! THE PURPOSE OF THIS COMMUNITY: Two times per year (May and November) we'll participate in the 5 challenges that coincide with the Fretboard Wizard course. For the rest of the year, we'll use this space to practice our knowledge as well as help and encourage FretWiz alumni to learn and reinforce the teachings of Fretboard Wizard!

This is a group of Club Owners who currently run local Jam Clubs. What's a Jam Club? Jam Clubs (beta) are groups of 3 to 12 people in a 25 mile radius who meet, in-person regularly. Each Jam Club has an "owner" and owners are required to run their clubs within the TAC guidelines (still being developed!). **If you're interested in starting a local Jam Club (beta) in your area, you must already have at least 3 people (including you) who've agreed to meet, in-person, at least once per month. If this is the case, send Levi a private message to get started.
