  1. Third time's the charm, right? I'm taking the easy way out, using the same video I posted for the first two challenges. Where I left off in the second challenge: Key of G. Intro - G G G D, C C C C, 1 1 1 5 4 4 4 4 then they start with G G G D, C C C C, G G G D, C C C C, G G G D, C C C C 1 1 1 5 4 4 4 4 1 1 1 5 4 4 4 4 1 1 1 5 4 4 4 4 Then, where the song changes: Am Am Am Am, 2m 2m 2m 2m C C C C. G G G G, D7 D7 D7 D7, G G G G 4 4 4 4 1 1 1 1 5 5 5 5 1 1 1 1 C C C C G G G G A7 A7 A7 A7 D7 D7 D7 D7 4 4 4 4 1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2 5 5 5 5 (there is one more bar of chord changes after the D7 here but I can't figure out exactly what they are) Then back where we started - G G G D, CCCC and so on throughout. Transposed to the key of D the same chord progression would be: D D D A GGGG for the intro & the first part, same as above in the original key. 1 1 1 5 4 4 4 4 The change in the key of D would be: Em Em Em Em 2m 2m 2m 2m G G G G D D D D A7 A7 A7 A7 D D D D 4 4 4 4 1 1 1 1 5 5 5 5 1 1 1 1 G G G G D D D D E7 E7 E7 E7 A7 A7 A7 A7 - 4 4 4 4 1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2 5 5 5 5 * I'm not sure how to or if you're even supposed to designate a 7th chord without notation, e.g. a major is just a capital letter and a minor has a lower case "m" after it. If someone knows, please help me out. (there is one more bar of chord changes after the D7 here but I can't figure out exactly what they are Then, same as before, back where we started - D D D D G G G G and so on throughout. I think I got it right. If anyone sees anything they think isn't right, again, please let me know. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
  2. Alright, I'll take a whack at Challenge #2. Same video I posted for Challenge #1. This is what I've come up with after rerunning the video about 800 times and trying to play along. Fellow TACer's are welcome to help me out: The Intro appears to be four bars of G G G D, C C C C, then they start with G G G D, C C C C, G G G D, C C C C, G G G D, C C C C Then, where the song changes (I don't know the term for when a song changes): Am Am Am Am, then maybe : C C C C. G G G G, D7 D7 D7 D7, G G G G then C C C C G G G G A7 A7 A7 A7 D7 D7 D7 D7 (there are more chord changes after the D7 here but I can't figure out exactly what they are) Then back where we started - G G G D, CCCC and so on throughout. I don't know if I'm right or not but that's what kind of sounds best when I try to play it. I could be wrong about those A7 or D7 chords. Let me know what you think, fellow TACers.
  3. Tom N - Nope, it wasn't intentional. My guess was wrong on the trivia question Tuesday. I thought that Johnny Cash had given Bob Dylan the guitar because he (Cash) played on at least one song on the album.
